Terms of use
The boundaries for using VedoBox.
These terms are a pre-launch draft describing the intended boundaries for the VedoBox website and early access product. The operator must complete legal review before publication.
Last updated: Draft — August 2026
1. Product status
VedoBox is currently an early access product and parts of the public API remain Alpha or candidate capabilities. Availability, supported language routes, processing behavior, and retention depend on the active environment and service state.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the service only with the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed for the media, subtitles, languages, and instructions you provide. Do not use the service to violate law or third-party rights, distribute harmful content, attack the service, evade access controls, or expose credentials and signed capabilities.
3. Accounts and access
Users are responsible for keeping their identity-provider access secure and for using only the workspace and project permissions assigned to them. A project identifier is a selector, not proof of authorization. Membership and role decisions are controlled by the service.
4. Content and results
You retain your rights in submitted content, subject to the permissions needed to operate the service. Results may require review and are not represented as commercial- grade OCR, guaranteed translation, or a substitute for human editorial judgment.
5. Integrations and credentials
API keys, webhook secrets, provider credentials, signed URLs, and object keys must be treated as confidential. Public SDK downloads and production-readiness commitments are not currently offered.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The final operator must add the legally required warranty disclaimers, service availability terms, limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution, governing law, and consumer-rights language for the target markets before publication.
7. Changes and termination
The operator may change, suspend, or retire early access capabilities subject to the final agreement and applicable law. Access may be revoked when membership, security, acceptable-use, or service-state conditions require it.
